Since 2002 I had been the Florence Academy of Art's Director of Anatomy where I taught artistic anatomy, Écorché, painting, and drawing. I've also taught numerous summer workshops for the Florence Academy of Art in Techniques of the Renaissance Masters, Portraiture, and An Academic Approach to Figure Painting.
Écorché is a course I developed for the FAA. I teach my students to sculpt in clay an anatomical flayed figure beginning with the skeleton.
I’ve also hosted a number of workshops both in Boston and New York for the Academy of Realist Art Boston (Cindy MacMillan – Director) and the Grand Central Academy (Jacob Collins – Director) in 2010 and 2011.
